JOY UNLIMITED
In 1973 singer Joy had already quit the group and Ken Traylor had joined instead. As Joy Unlimited consisted of highly talented and accepted musicians, they were offered an appointment for another ballet work, this time at the Mannheim Nationaltheater. The final result of this project was the album Reflections. As the Pilz label did not exist any more, the LP was released on BASF. According to the Freeman brothers it is redolent of Raw Material and Gravy Train. There are to be heard jazz, blues, and a few folk influences, the thread through the work, however, is progressive rock. With flute, saxophone, and a lot of keyboard sounds. The re-issue on Garden of Delights has two bonus tracks (from their 1972 single) and 16-page insert in LP size.
